Health Care Communication Laboratory (HCC Lab) is committed to cutting-edge basic research on core theoretical issues in communication sciences and health. In particular, studies conducted by HCC Lab aim to verify theories of communication sciences (such as argumentation theory or theories in the field of mass media communication), theoretic comprehension of relevant components in health-related communicative processes (e.g. health-literacy, e-health) and explorative research on interaction practices between doctor and patient or, generally speaking, health provider and consumer.
